The Greenwood School Board has accepted the resignation of schools superintendent Margie Pulley. The resignation is effective Friday.

Pulley had been with the school system since 1974, She was named interim superintendent in July 2008 when Les Daniels retired. The school board took away the interim label in January 2009.

Pulley was paid a $146,249 annual salary.
