Mississippi awarded $2.25 million in higher education grants to retain and graduate more students. 


  More than $2 million is being split between eight Mississippi colleges to provide more academic opportunities for students while improving retention and graduation rates.

The grants were provided by the Department of Education’s Student Support Services program.

It is anticipated that the grant will continue to be awarded over the next five years.
